- Spokane is Washington’s second largest city with a population of 204,400.
- The Spokane county region has an estimated population of 459,000.
- Spokane is located 18 miles west of the Idaho border and 110 miles south of the Canadian border.

- Coeur d’Alene is the largest city in northern Idaho with a population 41,328. Kootenai County has a total population is 131,507.
- Coeur d’Alene is located 30 miles east of Spokane and 90 miles south of the Canadian border. Seattle, WA is 330 miles to the west.
- Other cities in Kootenai County include Post Falls, Hayden, Hayden Lake, Rathdrum, Bayview, Athol, Harrison and St. Maries.
- Regional airports include the Spokane International Airport, located 40 miles to the west in Spokane, WA; and the Coeur d’Alene airport which provides private/charter air service. Interstate 90 bisects the community offering easy access to major cities west and east.

Facts about Lewiston, Idaho / Clarkston,Washington & Vicinity
- The Lewis-Clark Valley region includes the cities of Lewiston, Idaho (pop. 31,293) and Clarkston, Washington (pop. 7,260); and is located at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers.
- The area’s two counties, Nez Perce in Idaho and Asotin in Washington, have an estimated combined population of nearly 60,000.
- Lewiston and Clarkston are approximately 110 miles south of Spokane, Washington and 116 miles south of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Seattle, Washington is 318 miles to the west.
